Abstract :
In this paper, changes of thermal conductivity of paraffin mixtures joined different percentages of aluminum, copper, silicon powder were stuPdied. Feasibility of adding these three kinds of powders into paraffin to enhance paraffin´s thermal properties was studied, as well as the influence of different addictives on paraffin´s phase-change temperature and latent heat. The results showed that adding high conductivity material into PCM is able to enhance the thermal property and the effects of different additives are different. The phase change temperatures of PCM increase and the phase change latent heat decrease after jointing high conductivity materials into PCM. The results in this paper can provide references and basis for the heat transfer enforcement of phase change materials used in the wall.
