            Abstract : 
The vector finite element method is used to solve the inhomogeneous Helmholtz equation to obtain the 3D circuit fields in resonant cavities. Numerical results will be shown for a cylindrical geometry that models the cavity gap and to confirm the theoretical error estimates.
