Abstract :
The results of the development of a class of multimode high-power vacuum devices, named multiple beam traveling-wave tubes (MBTWTs), and based on their amplifying chains are presented. Technical and technological aspects of their fabrication are considered. The example of such a TWT designed for the 3 cm wavelength range and a pulsed output power of 5 kW, and an amplifying chain based on it are shown.<>
