Abstract :
Optimal switching device placement is of vital importance for distribution networks´ planning and operation. The combination of distributed generation (DG) and main networks is considered a principle way that could reduce investment outlay, lower the energy depletion and improve reliability of distribution systems. At present, all the study on DG impact on reliability of distribution systems is negative evaluation. No references exploit the positive effects of DG now. This paper researches the intentional islanding operation of DG, and presents an optimal allocation method of switches in DG enhanced distribution systems based on desire probability. The method finds the optimal configuration through genetic algorithm (GA). Through calculation, we confirmed that our allocation scheme is superior to intrinsic scheme. Additionally, this paper introduces the concept of load subarea to GA. This reduces the amount of calculation greatly.
