Abstract :
A functional system architecture for semi-autonomous land vehicles is presented supporting flexible automation of driving functions. The system architecture incorporates different levels of information processing, which can be distinguished by their knowledge representation and processing. Concepts enabling flexible automation of driving functions in semi-autonomous vehicles are proposed
