Abstract :
More and more, the organizations´ requirements are competition, work process execution costs reduction and development of new products and services. To meet these requirements, workflow technology provides methodologies and software for the processing of activities. Our researches aim at providing a support for parallel workflows applications with new activities representation models and software architectures for performing the desired functionalities. We introduce an ontology for the representation of parallel workflows activities and a software agent architecture which meet the needs of these systems by encapsulating several agents in the same structure
