Abstract :
The gain dynamics of an asymmetrical multiple-quantum-well semiconductor optical amplifier with wide gain-bandwidth are measured by a two-color heterodyne pump-probe technique in sub-100-fs region by using the ultrafast supercontinuum optical pulses.
