            Abstract : 
This paper proposes the rotor structure of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) using ferrite magnets that can improve the total torque. Three kinds of motor models including the basic motor model are shown, and the torque performance and the demagnetization of the magnet are discussed for each motor model. A two-dimensional finite element method is introduced to mainly analyze torque performance in this study. Analyzed results demonstrate the validity of the proposed rotor structure of IPMSM.
