Abstract
We present here a modal analysis of vertically coupled optical micro ring resonator with Kerr type nonlinear cladding. The effect of nonlinear cladding on the coupling between bus and ring waveguides is studied. Significant variation in coupling is observed that can give optimization flexibility.
