Abstract :
The modified circuit reservation multiple access (CRMA) protocol is a new wireless communication protocol that has been proposed for the use in a cellular environment. The signalling aspect for this protocol is studied and the integration of the signalling traffic within the system is presented and investigated. The operation of the protocol, in which the signalling is embedded, is simulated and the system performance is analysed in terms of throughput and delay
