Abstract :
GuiYang city is located in GuiZhou Province, China. As well as frequent dry and flood, Karst widely spreads in GuiYang, so serious soil erosion is an obvious character of ecosystem there. In the paper, we adopted Remote Sensing Interpretation based on the experts system to monitor and evaluate the soil erosion in Guiyang. The study includes (1) digitizing the influent factors of soil erosion. The influent factors of soil erosion are divided into the unchanged data and the changed data. The unchanged data are Lithological class, DEM and soil class, which are digitized by GIS. The changed data are land cover and vegetation cover, which are interpreted by remote sensing. (2) Making up the knowledge database of soil erosion. We analyzed the interested soil region and recorded the condition of influent factors of soil erosion. After optimizing the records, we made up the knowledge database for soil erosion in GuiYang. (3) Interpreting the soil erosion in GuiYang. After making up the knowledge database, we employed expert system to interpret the soil erosion there in 1994 and in 1998. (4) Getting the deteriorated region of soil erosion by comparing the soil erosion both in 1994 and in 1998 (5) Evaluating the hazard of soil erosion. According to the deteriorated region of soil erosion in GuiYang, we analyzed the condition of soil erosion and evaluate which region is easy for soil erosion. Finally, We concluded the rate of soil erosion changing in GuiYang and the spatial hazard classification of soil erosion.
