Abstract :
This paper presents a graphical method and a CAD system, that can be used to efficiently specify complex combinational and sequential logic functions typically found in digital telecommunication ASICs. The tools automatically generate circuit descriptions, that can be used as input to logic synthesis programs. The use of the method is demonstrated with an example, describing the design of a digital modulator circuit for a CDMA cellular telephone system
