Abstract :
Progress in current measurement technology is of paramount importance in power monitoring and protection of power systems. To this aim, magnetic sensors arrays are proposed as current transducers able to meet the requirements of fast and accurate current measurement within a wide amplitude and frequency range. This paper investigates the impact of the displacement of the magnetic sensors on the accuracy of the current transducer when measuring transient currents in a three-phase rectangular conductors system. The dependence on the number of sensors is also investigated.
