Abstract
Power electronics engineers frequently need a flexible way to implement the control of a new design. This paper discusses the design of a digital signal processor based power electronics controller, which provides the level of flexibility needed. To test the first prototype of the controller, the current supplied to an inductive load by a phase arm, was controlled.
