Abstract :
The paper deals with the diagnostics system of power transformers supported by Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This diagnostics system is used for power transformer 25 MVA. The following important parameters are investigated from diagnostic point of view: equivalent circuit parameters, capacity and loss index. On the beginning of investigation these parameters are calculated from transformer design, from measurements and by means of 3D FEA. The results are compared and used for diagnostic database. These results are analyzed annually in accordance with maintenance rules and standards in Slovakia.
