Abstract
Within the framework of co-operating firms in virtual organizations (VO), starting with their Web sites an automatic control approach for business sectors and the savoir faire of the enterprises involved is proposed. Information extraction mechanisms as well as how to identify activities mainly via the treatment of code NAF (Nomenclature of the French Activities) are presented. Moreover promising test results will be illustrated and discussed.
