Abstract :
Ontology-based concepts similarity calculation is the focus of Semantic Web. A comprehensive ontology-based concepts similarity calculation model is proposed in this paper. It considers four factors: property similarity, semantic distance, hierarchy depth and regulatory factors. This paper created a science and technology Paper Ontology, and computed papers similarity based on this method, and expanded OWL documents. Experimental results show this method of computing concepts similarity can improve the quality of the search, and would effectively guarantee the relevance of search results to improve the retrieval precision and recall.
