Abstract :
The distributed virtual machine monitor, or DVMM, is a technology which supports by integrating multiple physical computers´ resources. The VMMs on different computers cooperate by communication with each others. Obviously, for building high-performance virtual machine monitor, reduced, reliable communication is the most important point. This paper addresses the problem of implementing communication between VMMs and introduces a simple communication mechanism. And it replaced TCP/IP with RRDP (reduced reliable data protocol) in transport and network layers. At last our performance measurements demonstrated that RRDP was able to archive better performance than TCP/IP in our system.
