Abstract :
A new rigorous full wave analysis of rectangular bends of coupled multiple-line systems is presented, which investigates the fields in a spatial domain around the bends in one piece. The technique uses the method of lines. The scattering matrices and the equivalent circuits are determined. As an application the analysis was used in the investigation of the electrical properties of rectangular spiral inductors.<>
