Abstract :
The performance of protection systems on the Eskom Transmission network is very important for the safety of human life and in limiting damage to plant. Measuring the performance of these protection systems enables better maintenance to be done and assists in refurbishment programs. This paper explains how protection performance data is managed and how it can be used.
