Abstract :
A 252kV single-break SF6 circuit breaker (CB) is taken as the investigation model in this paper, and six different nozzles with different blade contour and 3D gas flow field model are presented based on N-S equations. And the variations of the cold flow field parameters in arc-quenching chamber with different nozzles have been obtained using finite volume method (FVM) during the interrupting. The influences of blade contour on the gas flow parameters, such as velocity, pressure-temperature ratio and pressure are analyzed by changing the angle, number and the height of the blade. And the reasonable nozzle blade structure of the rotary-gas CB is obtained.
