Abstract :
A new approach, based on the waveform relaxation technique and fast Walsh transform, is presented for the analysis of lossy coupled transmission lines with arbitrary terminal networks. The authors applied the congruence transform technique for an n-conductor system to analyze decoupled lossy transmission line interconnections with congruence transformers, and coupled a fast Walsh transform and waveform relaxation technique to form a new algorithm. The new approach results in a considerable saving in CPU time and memory. Test results comparing the analysis accuracy of the new method with an earlier method are reported.<>
