Abstract :
Air pollution has become a serious problem in China. The Ministry of Environmental Protection of China releases real-time air quality monitoring data in 74 cities online. This thesis applies grey incidence analysis to assess the air quality of 12 monitoring stations. The research shows that the two methods achieve similar evaluation results. The main reason for the difference between the two results is that the method released by the MEP adopts the maximum individual air quality index as air quality index. However, this research takes all the individual air quality indexes into full account to assess air quality.
