Abstract :
The author reports on a small-size comb-line microstrip BPE (bandpass filter). The new microstrip BPF was developed by using a high dielectric constant ( in r=92) substrate, and shield-lines were used between coupled resonators to get a smaller coupling coefficient. The three-stage bandpass filter was designed and demonstrated at 1.2 GHz. The measured value of the coupling coefficient of a coupled microstrip resonator is shown. The coupling coefficient is composed with and without the use of a shield line.<>
