Abstract :
The paper addresses a problem of efficient numerical computation of the scale-invariant, proportional-bandwidth, time-frequency Q-distribution (QD) of Altes which is used in tomographic reconstruction of the wide-band scattering function in radar/sonar Doppler echography. Three computational methods are compared and complete source code of their algorithms is presented in the paper. In one of them a novel modification of the introduced recently Bertrand and Ovarlez´s fast Mellin transform algorithm is used
