Summary form only given.Optical code-division multiple-access (OCDMA) attracts interest for multi-access in local area networks since it potentially allows many users to share a single transmission medium asynchronously. Recently there have been several proposals for using in-fiber Bragg gratings for implementing direct-sequence, fast-frequency hopping, and wavelength encoding/time-spreading (WE/TS) OCDMA systems. In this paper, we provide an experimental demonstration of a WE/TS OCDMA system using in-fiber chirped Moire gratings for encoding/decoding.
