Abstract :
Given the fact that instrumentation is a cross-cutting subject, the ANIMMA conferences are intended to respond to two objectives: 1. To be an interdisciplinary forum for experts in nuclear physics, reactor systems, fuel cycle, safeguards, health, environment, safety and education/training. Through high quality papers and didactic presentations, exchange of information about new measuring methods and systems can be achieved. 2. To bring together researchers, industrialists and academics, or in other terms developers and users of instrumentation technologies. On one side researchers want to present the results of their work and are looking for new problems; on the other side, industry is looking for solutions to its problems and is interested to propose new challenges to the researchers.
