Abstract :
Power spectra, moments and parameters of the observed wave data are estimated by MEM. The results show that ME spectra are superior to those calculated by conventional method in resolving power, especially for short wave series. The order determined by Akaike criterion is small, we suggest a method for determining the order by combining Akaike criterion with the energy estimation.
