Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present a new dc-dc converter using the digital integral gain switchover function and its control characteristics. The integral coefficient is switched by a reactor current. The reactor current is detected using two high-speed A-D converters. Then the sloop of reactor current is calculated. The integral coefficient is changed to appropriate value based on the calculated result. The regulation characteristic of dc-dc converter is improved in this way. The proposed method has the hysteresis function. As a result, the regulation characteristic is improved. The transient response is also discussed in the proposed method. The transient response of proposed method shows more excellent results than those the conventional method.
