Abstract :
An electrical drive and electricity generation operation system of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) for electric vehicles based on FPGA was introduced. Focused on 3 kW six-phase 12/10 SRM, FPGA of Xinlinx has been employed to construct the digital controller, and the system could be applied to vehicles to realize the starting and generating capability. Experimental results indicated that this system had a high performance and could meet the operation requirement of electric vehicles.
