Abstract :
Exploring a new method of line-tracking is the key to smart grid construction. Obtaining information of high-voltage transmission system by helicopter or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) will bring numerous images. The research of extra matter recognition of transmission system based on Hough Transform (HT) is performed in this paper. The gradient of gray image is used to detect the edge of transmission lines. The pattern vector is comprised of the number of local maximum in HT accumulator and the number of segments tested at last. A recognition system is proposed to test the false identification rate (FIR). This research can be used in fault recognition and diagnosis in power system.
