Abstract :
This paper describes a custom RISC integer core that has been developed at the Integrated Systems Center of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne. It is due to serve in high speed video applications like HDTV as an embedded processing and data management unit. A unified approach to video system integration through the use of this unit is also presented
