  • Abstract
    A new fundamental upper limit for the open-circuit resistance measurable between any two terminals of an (n+q)-terminal positive resistance network is obtained. This upper limit, the square Dn+q 2 of the network diameter measured in ohms, is a homogeneous function of all conductances gij physically connected between terminals i and j of the network (i,j=1,…,n+q; i≠j)
