Abstract :
The IR and RF ranges of spectrum are attractive for aerosol diagnostics due to possibility of non-destructive distance control of aerosol parameters in real time and registration of dense and submicron aerosol. In this connection, the two new nondestructive distance techniques of aerosol diagnostics are described: a phase raid technique of IR electromagnetic wave in gas disperse medium and a laser aerosol control due to electromagnetic response in RF range. An optical detector of phase fluctuations (ODPF) is proposed for experimental realisation of the first technique. The second technique is based on a new nonlinear optical effect of generation of electromagnetic fields (GEMF) of RF wave range in aerosol under the influence of powerful IR laser radiation
