Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report on a simple, practical, and extremely stable, actively mode-locked polarisation maintaining (PM) Er-Yb co-doped, Panda fiber ring laser. The ring consists of only five components and all were fabricated from Panda PM fiber. They are: fiber coupler, Er-Yb co-doped fiber, cavity length control fiber spool, a polarization sensitive isolator, and a Mach-Zender amplitude modulator.
