Abstract
In the field of electric mobility, many research efforts have been made in the recent years to analyse and develop advanced architectures and technical components for electric vehicles on the one hand. On the other hand, field tests of electric vehicles in daily use are still rare though. With that perspective, the paper describes the performance of a fleet test of electric vehicles with 70 test drivers involved. Information about the test fleet vehicles and the selection process of the test operators as well as the used measuring concepts in the cars are displayed. First results with regard to driven distances, consumer behaviour and energy consumption will be presented.
