  • Abstract
    A product tolerance information model is established based on function face and function reference element, and the ontology concepts and properties of product tolerance is described in Web Ontology Language (OWL). Derivation rules of product tolerance information models are put forward and represented based on Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL), and a practical novel approach to derive instances of product tolerance model by logical reasoning is introduced. An engineering case is studied using the proposed approach for verification.
