Failure detection and correction in switch reconfigurable antenna arrays

This paper discusses switch failures in reconfigurable antenna arrays. We present a new methodology for the detection of individual switch failures in any array type and propose a correction procedure to overcome such errors. An example is designed, fabricated and measured to validate the proposed method. A good analogy is found between measured and simulated results.
