Abstract
This paper presents graphs as modeling tools for reconfigurable antenna arrays. These models are proven to be frequency dependent and represent different antenna configurations that may be equivalent at certain frequencies. The complexity of reconfigurable antenna arrays is formulated using frequency dependent graphs. The complexity is also correlated with the reliability where they are proven to be inversely proportional. Examples are given to validate the formulations and prove the concept.
