Abstract :
Satellite oceanic remote sensing is beginning to play important roles in fishery research and fish harvesting. Spaceborne sensors make synoptic oceanic measurements for use in determining variations in ocean conditions which play key roles in causing fluctuations in stocks of fishes and in their vulnerability to harvesting.
