Abstract :
This paper presents a number of possibilities to improve the performance of main building blocks of current operational amplifiers. Three methods of lowering the input impedance of current buffers are described. Further, enhancements in the performance of the output stages, in order to obtain multiple output terminals as well as high voltage ranges and high output impedances available at the output terminals, are shown. Finally, a new current operational amplifier architecture suitable for low-power designs is presented
