Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel fuzzy on-demand QoS routing algorithm FQLAR, which can accommodate the information inaccuracy of mobile ad hoc network. Comparing with the conventional routing algorithm, FQLAR utilizes geographic position information to flood directionally routing packets, applies fuzzy membership function to make the fuzzy evaluation of link, and chooses a optimum path to transmit data packets according to the cost of path. The results of simulation on ns2 shows that FQLAR can achieve better performance such as packet delivery ratio, route discovery frequency and route success ratio.
