Abstract :
Wideband CDMA technology has been investigated by Korea Mobile Telecom for the next generation PCS service. An implementation of a prototype wideband CDMA system is described. First, the common air interface (CAI) protocol used for the system development is described. Then, a wideband CDMA ASIC based on the CAI is explained. We also present the system structure, and the issues of hardware, software and RF parts implementation. Finally, experimental results are given
