Abstract :
For the blades of the small wind turbine working under the conditions of Low-Reynolds, the air viscosity has relatively great influence on them. The design of the airfoil influence the performance of the small wind turbine directly. This paper based on the airfoil of the seagull, studied the aerodynamic performance of the airfoil under the Low-Reynolds and the influences of the main factors. The analysis show that the airfoil of the seagull is suitable for the special work circumstances of the small wind turbine, can be used for the design of the blades, especially in the tip. The results may provide technical reference for the wind turbine designing.
