Abstract :
Delivering learning materials anytime, anywhere is the goal underpinning the ubiquitous learning (u-learning) paradigm. Personalising this u-learning courseware delivers a unique learning experience to each individual user. Personalisation of learning content delivery requires certain system attributes; namely system adaptivity, intelligence, user profiling and awareness of user context (network, device, location). In this paper we describe the entre-pass system which is an example of this new class of adaptive u-learning system. Entre-pass is designed to deliver preliminary entrepreneurial training to individuals working within small and micro-industries. Courseware personalisation and trainee assessment is achieved using a suite of collaborative BDI intelligent agents. Finally, the results of our initial pilot testing and the corresponding modifications to the system are presented
