Abstract :
Results of radio-interference measurements on 750 kV transmission lines are presented. Frequency spectra and lateral profiles of radio interference have been obtained. Statistical parameters and integral distribution curves of quasipeak (QP) values of interference at 0.5 MHz for different weather conditions are given. A method for radio interference evaluation and prediction along power line routes, taking into account weather conditions and atmospheric pollution, is presented. Permissible electric-field gradients at the conductor surface on 750 -kV transmission lines, to keep radio interference within given limits, are obtained
