  • Abstract
    The John D. Isaacs Memorial Sea Grant Scholarship has been funded and administered by the California Sea Grant College Program since 1981. The objectives, rationale, method of awarding, recipients to date and a progress assessment are discussed in this paper. Five awards of $10,000 each have been given to California high school seniors for the pursuit of a marine science or technology degree in a California institution of higher education.
