Abstract :
We have measured the microwave absorption response of glass-coated amorphous microwires of nominal composition Co3.7Fe69.3B16Si11 with metal diameters, d, 7 < d < 24 mm, and total diameters (including the glass), D, of 21.9 < D < 30 mm, leading to metal-to-total ratios, p, 0.33 < p < 0.8 respectively, in a JEOL RES-RES3X spectrometer operating at 9.4 GHz (X-band).
