Abstract :
The propagation characteristics of the fundamental mode of annular ring microstrip antenna (ARMSA) on ferrite substrate are discussed. A full-wave analysis is formulated based on the spectral domain technique in conjunction with Galerkin approach. It takes into account the effects of the applied dc magnetic bias field in the behavior of these structures. Numerical results of resonant frequencies, radiation patterns, and return losses are presented as functions of some geometrical and ferrite parameters.
