Abstract :
At IEN a new type of electrometric AC-DC transfer standard has been designed. The theory of this device and the evaluation of some effects on a model of the instrument are shown. Preliminary experimental results are compatible with those obtained by means of measurements performed by calibrated thermal converters. These results also show that the electrometric AC-DC transfer standard can operate at the same level of resolution as of thermal converters, even without the control of the distance between the electrodes
